The XtraHand and Pro Hose Adapter
I would like to introduce you to the Genuine XtraHand by DrillBuddy, an unrivalled lightweight Hands Free extraction tool specifically designed to allow both professional trades people and DIY enthusiasts a safer and more effective way to remove the dust and debris of all types of materials from all types of drilling, cutting and grinding.
Unlike Bad Fake Chinese copies of the XtraHand (If there’s no Logo embossed on the top, then it’s a Fake) along with other pre-existing lesser versions that all have their own limitations and restrictions:

The XtraHand is manufactured in the UK from a durable & recyclable ABS plastic that contains approximately 15% recycled plastic.
The extraction port at the mouth of the tool is nearly 70mm wide, allowing various drill bits and hole saws of up to 64mm to be used effectively.
The internal section of the extraction port is greater than 2 square cm’s which is why it effectively removes larger material debris like Wood, MDF and Composite board with ease.
The soft pliable rubber (TPE) seal on the base of the tool is manufactured from a soft flexible silicone type rubber, this allows the tool to stick to many surfaces, leaving your hands completely free to control the power tool.
The amount of suction produced by the tool will always be dependant upon the power of the vacuum it is attached to.
The tool has a 32mm – 35mm hose connector, this is a standard size, however, not all vacuums are standard, which is why we include a custom Hose adapter made by ourselves.
There are two main reasons our unique Pro hose Adapter is different from standard Hose adapters on the market.
Firstly, is the material, most of the adapters that are currently available are made from a rigid ABS plastic, which means they have no real flexibility and can be difficult or near impossible to connect to some extraction ports and hoses, these are also difficult to trim as you need to use either an Angle Grinder or a Hacksaw, the Pro Hose Adapter can be trimmed with a utility knife.
Unlike these standard hose adapters, our custom made adapter has been manufactured from a flexible TPE (Rubber), this allows it to expand and contract under tension, giving it a far better friction fit and the ability to fit more Power tools and hoses.
Secondly, standard hose adapters are manufactured with square edged stepped sections, whereas our Pro Hose Adapter has been manufactured with tapered leading edges to each of the external and internal stepped sections, this helps provide an almost effortless and frustration free compression fitting to slightly oversized or undersized ports and hoses.
This makes the Pro Hose Adapter extremely versatile, and increases its functionality, why would you want to use anything else?
Mastic Clips:
Mastic-Clips are the brand new fast and reliable way to store your Silicone, Mastic, Caulk or Adhesive cartridge tubes in your shed, garage, workshop or van.
The clips are specifically for individual cartridge tube application, so you can fit them in the smallest recess.
Once fitted at 187mm centres, they securely hold both standard and large sized cartridge tubes without the need to adjust the clips.
With an easy insertion bow front and elongated arms that encompass 76% of the tube, these, unlike other types of clips, even prevent premature ejection when fitted to hinged van doors.
The support prop on the base clip prevents the cartridges from sliding out.
There’s no support prop on the top clip, so they allow both standard and larger cartridge tubes to be fitted, without the need to move the top clip.
The clips are made from an extremely strong and reliable material with smooth edges all round so as to not damage the plastic or cardboard of the cartridge tubes.
This material also ensures the clips will not lose their shape or their strength over time.
A central screw hole with a 11mm diameter countersink in each clip, ensures a size 8 screw will securely hold the clips without damaging the cartridge.
The clips allow vertical, diagonal or horizontal fitting, or anything in-between.
